Biography

Chen Rui, Associate Chief Physician, Department of Plastic Surgery, Renji Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine; graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. Completed a six-month training and clinical work program in the Department of Plastic Surgery, Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital. Clinically specializes in the treatment of pathological scars on the body surface; the application of aesthetic techniques for simultaneous repair after surgery for body surface tumors; minimally invasive scarless surgical treatment of axillary osmidrosis; facial rejuvenation surgery; and minimally invasive aesthetic procedures such as botulinum toxin injection for wrinkle reduction and facial slimming, and injectable fillers. Has particular research interest in the diagnosis and treatment of various types and forms of scars and scarless suturing in aesthetic surgery. Has participated in national plastic and aesthetic surgery conferences multiple times and given presentations. During her career, has published nearly ten SCI-indexed academic papers and, as principal investigator, led four National Natural Science Foundation of China and Shanghai municipal-level projects.
